About James Webre
With 30 years of experience in higher education administration, Jim left his most recent position ─ Associate Dean and Executive Director for Enrollment Management at Drexel University ─ to devote full time to his consulting practice.
Jim played a key role in Drexel's remarkable growth over the past 12 years, when the number of entering freshmen soared from 995 to 2,500, the new student discount rate dropped from 48% to 36%, average SAT scores rose from 1115 to 1210 and total full-time enrollment more than doubled ─ from 5,500 to 11,500 students.
Early in his career, Jim worked as an accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). He holds a BS in business administration from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA with a concentration in financial management from Drexel University.
